Love: Industrial and Cold

industrial-and-cold

I would like to be told
When the book’s closed
In a whisper to unfold
Real naked and bold
Sinister, Unopposed
Industrial and cold
Tin capped and rolled
She steps appalled
To call me off and I
Am floored and sigh
You my lady are
A car! Oh yes a car!
But you ain’t getting far
Without me, cause I…
Well it’s a dark night
and I… am a headlight.

I love the simplicity of this poem! Straight foreword but effective 😀👍

Thank you Sophie. If nothing more, it did effectively entertain the lady it was written for so I’d agree with you on that.

I genuinely really liked it. I am not keen on poems which are overly complex.
