Apology

output_jvrwz3

Determined to deter his direction
Dark Jazz beats dig deep down inside.
Attention not quite a tame horse
Jumps wild from temptation to temptation.
In the face of beauty and dance
There is a wish to embrace and slip
Into the deepest of sensual trance.
But then the sight of the promised mate!
All dance straightens up, for life
Is guided not by fancies but fate.

At this a voice inside my head screams
“Stop trivializing what you couldn’t do
You, who pretends that he never dreams!”

And I whisper an apology to my muse.
