An Autumn Birdwatching & Ecological Observation Walk

Registrations are now open for the second Autumn Air event.

Date: 31st October 2026
Time:
7:00-10:00 AM (assemble at 6:50 AM)
Venue:
Song Valley, Maldevta Road, Dehradun
Participants:
Limited to 20
Registration Fee: ₹300 per person

Join us for a morning of birdwatching and ecological observation with Dr. Raman Kumar in the Song Valley.

Together, we will observe the birds of Doon Valley autumn, learning about their migration, behaviour, habitats, and changing relationship with the landscape.

We return to the same location that hosted our Spring Birdwatching Walk, to discover what has changed. What birds have arrived or departed? How have their songs, movements, and behaviours changed from springtime? What does the landscape reveal as one season gives way to another?

Through these observations, we will explore the subtle seasonal cycle of the natural world, returning to a familiar place with the curiosity of seeing it through the lens of a different season.
