Daisy Child

in the mountains, daisies wild
laying down on grass green
sun bright in your eyes
earth moist on your thighs
have you swallowed the elixir
of life… haven’t you, daisy child?
morning dew on the daisies wild
laughter, of the mountain stream
breaks out from your eyes
spills out into my world
when you cry
oh, so beautiful, daisy child
suddenly, I’m afraid to die…
