waited for the lady, to switch on her tv
and disappear completely

but
tonight
no one’d tried
to switch on the light
even though ’twas quite dark outside
’twas way past the time for her favorite show
the little house stood strangely solemn, unusually quiet
and the little mouse waited long for the lady, to switch on her tv
and disappear completely… though it already seemed like she wasn’t there

Oh so empty-poetry and image paired are poignant.
dear angel in the dust… the writing was accompanied by a melancholic piece by Philip Glass…
Oh! i know it.
your ability to design words around one another to create such poetic loveliness Prashant will always I’m sure astound me and leave me so thankful to know you. Each time I begin to wonder how your beautiful mind works…then I remember you are made of magic…of this I am sure.
As always, dear Maureen, you are too generous… Thank you… 🙂
truly Prashant thank you for sharing yourself here I am forever grateful! 🙂
