Garden’s Poetry; Palm and Melody

Azure my most innocent love
Cloudless in an autumn day
Forever under the spell I lay
Listening to the very calm
Whispers of the lovely palm
And poetry then touched me
Fine like silk of a spider’s toil
And the silky autumn breeze
A finch’s flutter and her song
Still ocean Of breath and heart
Is stirred and I must hum along
With the melody to play my part
Before the ruthless engines start
And take away my autumn day
Forever under the spell I lay
Forever under the lovely palm
Listening to the very calm
Melody of eternity.
