The Pirate’s Treasure

The Notebook

Me hearties! Me lads! Me lovely lasses!

Blimey! Black spotted I’ve become!

Me mateys! Ye lads! Ye lonely lasses!

Shiver me timbers! Whatever I done!

Plunder we did the old buried chest

Haunted by the ghost aye only I am

No swag did I loot; all gold I detest

Yet cursed, only I; Whyever not them!

A Peg-legged dog ravaged by skurvy!

Blimey! Stiff cheesed I’ve become!

Me mateys! Ye lads! Me lovely beauty!

Shiver me timbers! Whatever I done!

They looted all booty; all pearl and coin

Sink me! None of that did I even touch

This one thing I took, me hideous crime,

Was the tattered notebook that I clutch.

Me hearties! Me lads! Me lovely lasses!

The notebook! The notebook! The notebook is cursed!

Me mateys! Ye lads! Ye lonely lasses!

In the notebook an old pirate, aye he had his soul rehearsed!
